I know this is kinda an old topic, but a while ago i read at ign that the Nintendo Wii was being sued becuase of the wiimote and i just wanna know if its still being sued just out of curiosity

most companies are being sued for something all the time

it's the new way of life

I think they agreed to redesign the wiimote with a stronger strap

but the people suing were using the wiimote in a really aggresive manner, so it's their own fault

No. The people suing Nintendo lost. Wii won!

No. The leeches lost, thankfully.

By "leeches" I mean "people who go out of their way to get hurt on new tech to sue companies". Thanks to these people, things wind up costing more for the rest of us, because of all the stupid legal fees.

There are legitimate cases of people getting hurt by things that were made poorly. But in most cases, the person tried to get hurt.


Nintendo solved it by making thicker wrist straps. Yay!

probbaly but personally i think that those ppl are the most clumsy ppl ever. i hav a wii it goes fine with small movement and not bein retarded enough to throw the wii mote at ur screen at 30 mph literally i see ppls tvsbusted with two hole through the whole screen.

no because they had a recall on the straps and there is a website to get four free new straps
