another country invaded the US under false (or even true) pretences?? Tortured and imprisoned your neighbors? Terrorized your families with precision guided missiles? Killed upwards of 60,000 of your countrymen?
Would you cooperate with the occupation force, would you support the newly installed government, would you accept the authority of that force over your country? Would you turn in outside forces that try to help liberate your country?
How would your reaction be different than the reaction of the insurgents in Iraq? How would you be different that the insurgents in Iraq?

Lets just get somethings straight.
Who is doing the killing of Iraqi civilians.
Iraqi civilians killed last year by ISLAMIC Terrorists 16,791
Iraqi civilians killed collaterally in incidents involving Americans (and Islamic Terrorists) 225*

Another problem the establishment of schools and 3 free elecitons and removing a dicator something also you are missing out on.
You are assuming this country is thinking as one country you are forgetting about the tribe facation that have been at war for centuries.
The government install was done by their votes.
Torture the only example is what Abu Grabi and those guys are in jail.
How about the beheading of our troops or the sucide bombers directed at women and children by groups funded by Iran.
Now I am consider you view are you willing to consider other views.
You had power in your country and taken away. People you have been oppressing for a long time are coming after you wouldn't you do anything to keep your power or instill fear into others say Americans will leave soon.
You know that put a few weepy women and Americans go home because they don't have the stomach to fight us.
Those are the people we are dealing with and you are being sympathic to in your post.
The same kind of people who want you dead given a chance.
So would you support the war now knowing that you are establishing a place with women have rights and allow to go to school or is it more important to you to have the people who murder women at will in power again.

Your question and its details is a classic example of "it's all about how one frames the issue"
You conveniently leave out some important facts like the Iraqi people were previously forced to live under a ruthless dictator who was proved in an Iraqi court of law to have carried out the slaughter of 100's of his own citizens. Your apparent amnesia has caused you to forget that free elections were held several times n order for Iraqis to choose their leaders.
And as far as the torture, are you referring to "the panties on the head" scandal a couple of year ago? Or do you think any way of dealing with our enemies that may cause them some discomfort is always torture?
Now if the worst case scenario was actually occurring as you describe it, I would certainly try to resist as best as I could. However I would never condone the use of such tactics such as using women and children and suicide bombers as your "beloved" insurgents have done.

I can see that you haven't been paying the least bit of attention to what's being reported so your whole premise is skewed and flat wrong. What part of "the extremists and insurgents in Iraq are mostly Iranians, Syrians, Saudis and others who were not there before" do you not understand?
Iraqis have been helping the Coalition Forces because they are tired of being used by the others. How do you explain the success in Iraqi Kurdistan?
Your whole argument is screwed up.

Hey genius...if america was a country where women were killed for not having sex or being forced to with whoever, and had no rights...and our economy was worthless, and it was a dictatorship, i would welcome the liberation of a free democracy.
I mean people like you want to look at everything with the glass full, but the fact is you lack any perspective on life, you see everything as an occupation becuase you feel everyone lives like we do with our choices and thermastat controlled rooms. get a perspective child.

What specious questions. Ipso facto, the American culture is nothing like that of the Iraqis. We're educated cowboys and MacGyvers. We are open to many religions. Our advancements in technology would never allow a large scale invasion. And we are safer from terrorism in the states. We are a superpower. You aren't even comparing apples to subjective apples. You are sharing your fantasies with us.

Well, you're here in America, but you seem as though what you really want is to become an Iraqi citizen under Saddam. I'm sure he'll agree with you. Oops! That's right; they hung him. And your career as a muslim terrorist sympathizer was just getting started. My sincerest sympathies.

Your question is irrelevant. I personally do not support our leaders running the war, but I support wholeheartedly the brave men and women who serve our country with honor.
