I have to say, a Yankee Fan/ Met Fan arent really a true ''fan'' you have to have youre team to count on, someone who just roots for their city arent really a true fan, their people who dont have much knowledge of the game, you pick youre team, know more about it. And start the rivals! Because being a Yankee Fan/Met Fan means no riviling =(

I suppose you can. The only question is who do you root for when they play each other in inner league play? And if they end up in the world series as they did in 2000, who would you root for again???
I like the Phillies. Lived in the South Jersey area for many years. Followed the Phils as I did my beloved Yankees. Now if the two teams meet in the world series, and I hope they do, I'll be rooting for the Yankees as I always do.

NO WAY. That's like saying your an Oklahoma Sooners & Texas Longhorn fan. Redsox and Yankee fan or Buckeye & Wolverine fan. It just cant be.

Welcome to America. The land of the free and choice of your favorite baseball team. My 18 yr old daughter roots for the NY Giants and Dallas Cowboys. So yes. U can and u will root for BOTH ny teams and that way u will be a winner in 2007 world series.

I know alot of ppl that are,I ask them how can you root for the mets,,Their answer is,,,They are rooting for the City and the state of NY!! They just love NY so much that it doesn't matter
which team wins,They just want the State to take home a championship!!
