I was 39 weeks. It came naturally and FAST! When I got to the hospital around 2 in the morning I was already 4 cm. Immediately, I asked for an epidural which I got at 5 1/2 cm and DIDN'T EVEN WORK! So I felt the hole thing up until 8 cm. I was so uncomfortable that they called in a second anesthesiologist to come in and redo it. The second one actually worked, however it slowed down the labor and I was at 8 for 3 hours. Finally, my gorgeous angel girl came out at 12:41 that afternoon. She was 6lbs 7oz. It was the best day of my life. Now she's a month old and although I sleep for a total of 4 hours (5 if I'm lucky) in a day, she's such a joy and i adore her do much. I hated being pregnant, I had to go through so much drama, throughout my pregnancy, family wise and job wise. And then nothing prepares you for labor! But when that little angel comes out it's like nothing matters and it's all good!

My son (8 weeks) was born at 40wks 5 days naturally. He weighed 8lb 9oz. The only interfearence by the medical staff was that they broke my waters as I had been having contractions for 4 days and not been able to sleep so they wanted to help things along since i was 5cm dialated.

*My first child, a boy, was born at 38 weeks and weighed 8lbs, 8oz. Came naturally, on the day I was scheduled to be induced.
*My second, a girl, was born at 36 weeks and weighed 6lbs,15oz. My water broke, but I was not having regular contractions, so they induced with pitocin.
*My third child, another girl, was born at 37 weeks and weighed 7lbs,7oz. I was 6cm dilated, 95% effaced and not in labor, so they broke my water at the hospital because they didn't think I would make it from home to the hospital if I went into labor.
