The greatest minds in the history of mankind have not ascertained as yet what "real" is or is not. But, per quantum theory, yes, mermaids are "real" somewhere, sometime, in some way. For sure.

Nothing can be proven or denied right now, as just about anything is possible. Mermaids could have existed centuries ago, or live in caves deep beneath the floors of oceans. There are cave drawings of mermaids, and skeletons have been found. The strange thing was that they were indeed centuries old, but only the top half of the bodies was found. Dragons existed too, just most people don't realize that they were a type of dinosaur.

Yes, Virginia, there is a mermaid. A mermaid lives inside each girl as she grows up. The mermaid enjoys frolicking in the water and splashing around when very young.

Adult mermaids can be found at bars and are easily identified as they drink like a fish.

I heard of a really bad story regarding the truth in mermaids.

I diver ran into three mermaids and stated that they are not the beautiful sirens that the fables are depicting.

the mermaids had scraggly hair and slimey skin, their eyes were almost white as they never went out of the water, they were mean and tried to drowned him.

they smelled terrible and their scales were not the beautiful colors you see in pictures, they were grey and flaking, their bodies were not full and shapley but skiny and their skin was not pretty in color buy whitish from no sun.

their teeth were gone or gagged and they did not adorn themselves with seashells and flowers.

he said he freed himself and they snarled at him and vanished into the ocean.

are they real?

what do you think?
