It was at Universal Studios, waited in line for over 2 hours for a minute and a half long ride. Then when we were about 4th or 5th to get on the ride, the dammed thing broke down!

About 20-odd years ago, I waited in line for 6 hours to register for college. It was a four story building and the line went around the halls on every floor.
I registered for a college class recently -- from my home -- and was done in just under 5 minutes, from start to finish.

I have waited in many lines for concert tickets, once for over a day for pink floyd tickets, it was worth it, we got floor seats for the division bell tour

A few hours in an airport just to get to the ticket counter. This was before e-tickets. My husband and I took turns going to get coffee and water.
