I think it's 14k-meaning 14 karat and dz is the maker's trademark, but I could be wrong.

I don't know. If I were you I would go to your local jeweler and ask him if your jewelry is 14K. He will tell you.

It could just be the designer/manufacturer. There are thousands and thousands of those, unless you are lucky to come across someone who knows it, there is no way to find out.
