I took the pill everyday, never missed a day and I now have a 7 month old baby boy, so yes, it is possible. There is no 100% form of birth control except not having sex at all.

The way the pill works is it tricks your body into thinking it's pregnant so you wont ovulate. Sometimes a woman does ovulate so as a secondary defense it creates an enviornment where a fertilized egg can not implant. In a very small percentage of cases both these fail and a woman can become pregnant. This is very very rare though. Most cases of women getting pregnant on the pill are because the women skipped a pill or 2.

Go get your birth control pills and read the little info packet that came with the pills. it tells you all of that if you READ it.
