I'm 15 and I'm looking for a good read. If it helps I'm a sucker for books that have a sweet romance and I'm not that fond of sad endings but they're okay if it really adds to the story. I'm not looking for a fantasy novel or some depressing autobiography.
I just finished the Lord of the Flies, and even though it was boring, the message behind it and the numerous metaphors made it one of my favorite books.
Also, "What Happened to Lani Garver", "Twilight", "New Moon" and "Candy" are other books I really enjoyed.
I like anywhere from humor to drama as well, but remember...not too sad.

Yes, a lot of detail, but I would really like some suggestions if you have any :).

If you're into history, or basically a good story, look for books by Ann Rinaldi. I love Twilight! My mom had to force me to put it down! lol
Try books by Danielle Steele, they're romantic books, but certain ones can fit your mood!
Some of the books on the link below are good! Look up the books you like online to find similar ones!

I love Twlight, I'm almost finished with it.

A Walk to Remember is a really sweet love story. Don't dismiss it just because it has been made into a horrible movie. The book is much better, trust me. You can read the first chapter here:

The Notebook is good too, but it's pretty much like the movie.

The rest I've the books I've read are more for younger kids/teens. You probably wouldn't be interested in them.
