Old but not old enough. Be wary of rust. Small engine that was great in the 2002, but lost power with all the emissions crap from that era. Will need work. Parts for old BMW's getting expensive and rare. Sold my 1973 2002 for a 1971 Triumph TR6, smile every time I drive my Triumph. Could not smile in the BMW as it was off the road for years due to rust issues. Fixed the rust, dumped the BMW.

The 316 of those years had a 4 cylinder 1895cc motor. 4 speed motor vehicle. (I presume you're writing from the states). somewhat underpowered and could take perpetually to arise to speed. Runs nicely as quickly as you're on the open highway, and intensely least high priced on the open highway. an astounding motor vehicle for somebody who's on no account in a hurry. sturdy overall gas economic device The 320i had 2171cc motor. 5 speed motor vehicle field. The stick-shift form had the tendency to stall common on the pull-away whilst the revs have been too low. Can get very thirsty in case you preserve the hammer down. I enjoyed the torqueness of the 4 cylinder. I hated the 320 in a stick shift because of the will for revs and tendency to stall common, inspite of the undeniable fact that it became a plenty smoother motor vehicle topersistent as quickly as rolling. the two vehicles are so comparable regarding their overall gas economic device, that gas economic device on my own should not be the figuring out element as to which of the two motor vehicle you pick to possess. Its rather as much as you to decide which one you like the main when you`ve pushed them, as they vary extremely in character.
