go to http://www.crucial.com and run the system scanner. It will describe everything about your current memory config.

Probably, however, if you want to know EXACTLY the sort of RAM you have just download & run this free tool :

CPU-Z is a freeware that gathers information on some of the main devices of your system.

As per RAM:
Frequency and timings.
Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) : vendor, serial number, timings table.

It will tell you everything you need to know & more.
I've used it on various PCs many times over the years.

its ddr p4 did not support ddr2 back when they still were produced at 2ghz. you can open up your computer and look at the ram to find the spped, it is usually printed on it.
