I met my girlfriend when she was 14, she is now 17, we've been going out for a while now but she is still only a sophmore in high school. I keep having this desire to marry her and dont want to lose her, but I dont know what to do. She wants to go to college and I dont want to stop her from doing that but I want to be with her. What should I do when she's about to graduate?

I think you both are too young to be thinking of marriage. Let he finish school and goto college. Marriage is a real big step and you need to be real sure before you get into anything. You do not want to regret anything.

Have a long engagement. You can get engaged now, and get married after she graduates, or while she is in school. People change once they've graduated high school, so I wouldn't jump into marriage right away. I'd stick with an engagement and nothing further.

She's way too young to even be considering marriage. You can still date her, but save the marriage idea for when you are older and know where you are going in life.

Well first of all you dont HAVE to get married, marrige is just a very expensive ceremony and a piece of paper binding you two together. You dont need marrige to love someone, or do things with them. Ask her what she wants to do, If she says she wants to wait, then wait, but If you want to marry her now, and wouldnt wait for her, then you dont really love her. Just think of her, and be supportive of her decision!

Man, you are way too young for this! Live a little, do a tour in Iraq, if you are still alive, and she hasn't hooked up with anyone else while you are gone, then maybe it was meant to be.

Let her go to college, and live her life to the fullest.
If your love is truely meant to be, and is strong & passionate, then she will be there for you to marry when she's graduated college.
----maybe you could propose now, but not get married until she's graduated college.....

ask her if she wants to be married to you. if she does then there is nothing wrong with waiting for her to finish college and she won't be going anywhere if she thinks that that is the direction your relationship will be going.
