wow you just opend a question ..well lets say its one of the most popular get ready for ppl argueing on what its about.. OKAY as few tips DONT BELEIVE ANYONE THAT SAYS THEY KNOW WHAT ITS ABOUT BCUZ LIKE NO1 REALY DOSE alot of ppl witll say its about gerarda and mikey's grandma elena and a few others will say its about gerards gf in colege who commited scuicde well i think it could meen various things for everyone . it could meen one thing for one person and another thing for another person
so yeah
(extra tip)and also listen to the lyrics and see what they meen to you . then it wont matter what anyone else thinks . its all about you, that's what my chemical romance is all about and formed for making a diffrence in ppls life..
oh one more thing just to add
in the album three cheers for sweet revenge the interview gerard was asked what three cheers for sweet revenge ment to him and he said that it was the ppl in school who made fun of them when he was younger and he was always the loner type and the revenge was he's famous now and its kinda like revenge

It's about Gerard and Mikey's grandmother, Elena Lee Rush. She basicly taught Gerard everything to sing, perform, paint, draw, dance, etc. Gerard was very close to her and the song and I'm quoting from Gerard, "I really wanted to pay tribute to her in some way. She's done a lot for me and I wanted to pay tribute to her and I figured this would be the best way."

It's about Gerard and Mikey's grandma..
when she died Gerard suffered a lot
so he wrote the song for her..
but yeah.. i think if u read it carefuly you will realize how he felt when that happened to him..
he was very angry and sad..
but when he says
'can we pretend to leave the earth we'll meet again when both our cars collide'
that means that he thinks he will meet her when he die..
and i agree with u.. it's a great song..
well nothing similar has happened to me..
but it helps me to understand him..
and see it with different eyes..

Demolition enthusiasts....i understand that i do no longer love you is extra of like a "i'm leaving you" track yet nevertheless ther is a few thing approximately it that makes me experience love that's a love track lol.

I think its about letting go of someone who you love because they have caused you alot of pain. (Why did you carry on this way/ things are better if I stay...)
