To give you an idea of how thin its gotten, when i pull it back into a ponytail the circumference is somewhere between a dime and a nickel! I have been pulling al nighters for a couple of weeks, and its possible my body has been under added stress, but is there anything i could do to stop and/or reverse this..... (rest isnt an option).

Firstly.....no pony tails! Tying hair back breaks it and makes it much much weaker.

Ban the hair dryer or straighteners or tongs....they weaken hair.

Go for a blood test as anaemia can cause hair loss and a course of iron tablets will get you back on track.

Stress may well be contributing. You say rest isn't an option....I used to say this...I was work work work....then a breakdown FORCED me to rest....don't let it get like that! You can ALWAYS rest. What you do is you write in your diary say 2 - 3pm rest or me time. and you stick to it!

Think about it....you keep all the other arrangements in your busy schedule don't you? Well why not yours? Your rest time has to come FIRST. Once it is penciled into your diary...you make arrangements AROUND that time.

Think about it, you may say to someone...'I can't see you at 3, how about 4?' You accept that as okay. Well, if you have scheduled a 'me time' in your diary, you make yourself unavailable at that time. It's good life management skills whereas burning the candle at both ends isn't....it makes you stressed, tired unwell and function less effectively.

Hope that helps
