First of you spelled his last name wrong! It is Gonzales with an S at the end,. So what if he was? Hispanics if they climb a bit they get pushed down again! I tell u something else , Bush has given more opportunities to blacks and Hispanics than any other president! I may not agree with him on everything , but I respect him and tell it like it is! so there! Adios banana!

The White House Counsel advises the president on all legal issues.

Who cares? It is the President's prerogative to fire any Federal judges he wants to, for any reason. Hell, Bill Clinton fired a hell of a lot more of them than Bush (or Gonzalez) did.
