yes. a galaxy is basically just a collection of stars. its possible stars didn't gather into any kind of collection, though most of the stars we normally see in the night sky (without the assistance of a super-telescope) are from our galaxy. I'd say 99.999% of stars have a galaxy to call home, but there are probably at least a few without a galaxy.

Yes there are some stars that just "Float Around" in space.
