Does anyone know whether or not it is possible to make/design your own powerpoint template? If so, could you tell me how to do it?

Actually, there is no complication to create your own templates.
First of all you have to know how to use one of graphical packages, Adobe Photoshop for example.
You have to create 1024x768 or 800x600 background collage. Save it as JPG
1. Open the presentation
2. Click right mouse button on slide
3. Choose "Background" - Click on down arrow in the new popup window
4. Select "Fill Effects" in that menu
5. Choose "Picture" tab and click "Select Picture"
Than save as *.pot

It's pretty simple. You just start out with a blank design and add shapes, pictures, colours, etc.
I did one about three months ago, and I'm only in sixth grade. My teacher gave me a A- because I happened to mis-spell one word (UK spelling) and I guess he didn't like the facts I put on there. Mr. E said that the PowerPoint itself was good enough to be professional, though.
