I was very young and not ready for a baby and I had a Abortion. I think back and know it was the right choice for me. I had no family who supported me with wanting to have a baby also the boy who was the father had found someone else. I would have been very much alone and I know that if I would have had the baby there is no way on this earth I could have given the baby up. I now have three wonderful children that I am trying so hard to do my best at raising and am happy I made the choice that I made back then now 18 years ago. Abortion is a hard choice it was so hard for me but I feel in some cases like mine it was the right choice.

The abortion argument will never be resolved until both sides agree on when life begins. It is like both sides are arguing it is right or wrong, but they are not talking about the same thing.
One thing I find interesting is that in some states you can be convicted of "fetuscide" if you happen to beat a pregnant woman and her fetus "dies". If you forget the horrible beating part and focus soley on the fetuscide part, it really makes no sense for the person to be charged w/ that if abortion is perfectly legal. I believe this is a great example of the hypocrisy within the law on this argument.

each to their own. i cant stand people who try and have it made illegal, thus reducing people in these situations to having unsafe backyard abortions or an unwanted child. if someone feels that they are not ready then they shouldnt be forced to have a child that could potentially ruin there life. althought its not the nicest thing in the world and some may consider it cruel, it is a choice that can only be made by the mother. aborted feutuses can go to better use such as stem cell research to help those already in need. no one is forcing anyone who doesnt believe in it to get an abortion, so there is no need for pro-life people to shun those where this is there best option.

I do not believe in abortion. When you spread your legs and have sex, then you know what the consquences can be. You are the one who chooses to have sex, and if a child is concieved then they have the right to live. They aren't asked to be brought into this world. If you are pregnant there are plenty of people out there who can't have children and would love to adpot. Abortion should never be an option.

Abortions are absolutely, positively, completely wrong! People say "Oh, nothings wrong with it etc..." "If she doesn't want then let her do it" Well dont they know that its Murder!!! I dont even know why they let people do it. Have they seen the videos, the pictures, the pain the baby goes through! Its still a living being! It doesnt matter whether its a fetus, its still a baby, a human, a life. Its also a sin and wrong before the Lord. I totally disagree with everything in abortion. I say that if the woman opened her legs then its her responsibility. If she can take care of it fine. If not the least she can do is give it up for adoption and let it go into a loving, caring, and securing home.

Due to religious and moral beliefs a woman has no right whatsoever to end a life that is growing inside her unless continuing with the pregnancy could cost both the mother and the unborn child their lives. And abortion is NOT a form of birth control. In the case of rape you can either be a nice person and raise the child that is growing inside you because it is not it's fault that you got raped and if you don't want to do that you can put it up for adoption. I also think abortions to teenagers should be forbidden. Actually all abortions should be forbidden except in the case of the mother might die if she continues with the pregnancy. No one has the right to take a life away except ALLAH.

Abortion. An issue controlled by the church. I think it's wrong but it should not be the business of the government to control private issues. The court ruling of Connecticut vs. Griswauld states that it is not the government right to get involved in private decisions.

It should not be used as birth control but I dont believe many people use it that way. It should be available to any woman who chooses to get it. It is much better for a woman to get an abortion than to have a child that she cannot properly raise. Also some woman become impregnated after rape and I know I would be getting an abortion.
It is completely and totally a womans choice and there should be no discrimination against it.

It shouldnt be used as birth control but it is a necessary procedure. Women should always have the right to choose. Some women cant afford to have a kid, maybe needs to get out of an abusive relationship, was raped, etc. I dont think any woman who has an abortion is happy about it at all and does it without thinking long and hard about it.

It is totally and completley wrong!!!!!! From the moment the two cells join together it is a baby! Oh, sure, it's not developed yet, but it is a person! To have an abortion would be murder!! If you get pregnant at an early at an early age it is your own fault for messing around, and if you get raped, a baby is something good coming out of something horrible! Human Life is valuble!! Don't do away with it!!!
