you're never too old to learn. college professors and other high level professionals never stop learning. im 24 and im just now finishing my bachelor's degree, im going to grad school in the fall, which is another two years, and eventually ill work for my PhD, another 4-8 years.
so i'll be 30-32 when i'm entirely done with my education, but ill never stop learning, and neither should you or anyone else.

I don't believe there is an age when you should not take college classes. The only problem that I would see with age is not really age related. We have a computer aided education system, if you do not know how to use a computer and are not willing to learn, then it might be best to not start or to quit. Other then that, no one is too old to learn, health reasons aside. Non traditional students (students over age 24) add a lot to a classroom. They have a lot of experience in the work force as well as personal, and this adds to the classroom experience. A person that is, say 70-years-old, would offer even more wisdom, if their health and skills allow them to. Colleges and Universities are restricted from discriminating against a person based on their age. If they wish to receive federal and state funding, they cannot deny admission on the basis of age. There are ways of making it so older students are not able to pass admission guidelines, but these are rarely used. In fact, a person who is over a certain age gets a lot more "free" money for school then those younger. I am not sure but I think the age is around 65. Maybe it would be better to wait until your older (lol). Anyway, the final answer is, there is no definite age for a person to stop taking classes. Hope this helps.

about 120 cause you will be dead.
Most older students I know do very well because they know what they want and only take the class because they are interested. Not because they didn't know what else to do and couldn't care less and rather would go out and party.

any age. no specific age. people have a right to education, therefore as long as they have money or funding, it doesn't matter. tho, i'd be scared if a 70 year old person was in my class

There have been people in their 90s that have graduated from college.

Thanks to all of you who answered this person's question! I loved your answers! I am an older, nontraditional student and what you said has inspired me! Thank you! By the way, all the "kids" in my class say I'm the coolest mom they ever met, and they wish I was their mom!
