The answer is no. Bare minerals contains no substance in it that will dry your skin out. It actually replenishes your skin and makes it healthy at the same time of applying it to your face. Because it is a mineral based product, it means its all natural and will not harm your skin, nor will it clog your pores. Bare minerals is specifically for sensitive skin or acne prone skin. It also allows your skin to breathe and gives off of a glowing overall look to your skin.

If this is drying out your skin, you may need to rethink your skin regimen that is the most important thing because no cosmetic chould be drying your skin out and certainly not Bare Minerals....and try GLO Minerals look it up online they have more minerals in their cosmetics than Bare Minerals so a little bit more money for healthier fuller coverage...oh yeah and Dermalogica is amazing for skin they even give you their skin care samples to try before you buy...

I have extremely dry skin and regular liquid foundations always dried my skin out. I tried bare minerals 6 months ago and haven't had a single problem with dry skin ever since. I don't even have to apply moisturizer first, the way I had to with liquid foundation. Plus I haven't had any breakouts since I started using it! Yay!

Absolutely not. I started using bare escentuals about a year ago. I'm a total convert. I've always had trouble with eye makeups and every bare escentuals eye product I've tried has given me nothing but satisfaction. I truly love it and will never go back to liquid foundation. My skin no longer breaks out and many friends and family members have started using it after trying mine.

I use mineral makeup (though not this particular brand) and I get extremely dry on my cheeks and around my mouth sometimes. In my experience, it doesn't dry me out, but if I'm peeling, the make-up looks totally obvious. So, no, it probably won't dry you out, but I would not recommend it for times if you are peeling.

I have used bare essentals for a year and yes they do seem to dry out and then when you use lotion and put on make up it clumpy looking. I like to use cover girl simply powder.

If you use its base before, it's a lot better. but it doesnt dry your skin out, I think it works wonderful with dry skin instead. Here is a list of products I use and my comments: http://beauty-tricks.com/index.php?option=com_search&Itemid=5&searchword=Bare+Escentuals&submit=Search&searchphrase=exact&ordering=newest
