Oh no, I love chocolate so much that I can't even sleep right knowing there is chocolate in the house.

Sure men love chocolate too. But you all should admit that women have a VERY tender spot in their heart for chocolate. Get an audience of women and say a joke about chocolate and you get a lot of laughing and head nodding. Get an audience of men together and you get nothing like you did with the women.
Now why? Well, it's well known that the pleasure you get with chocolate is related to the same pleasures that you get with sex. I think that it appeals more to women in this way because for men sex is more physical and for women sex is more emotional. Chocolate activates the emotional senses.
Go ahead ladies... laugh and nod. You know you want to.

No, but I think it's more of a female condition.
I have a lot of feminine tendencies and was probably socialized to act like a female (I grew up without a father and was pretty secluded for a while); I do not know if that had a serious impact, but I am aware that males generally don't like chocolate as much as females.

I'm a girl and I don't much care for chocolate. I don't like sweet things in general. Most guys I know like sweet things, including chocolate, far more than I.

lol no. i know several guys who enjoy chocolate including myself but i have also known some people including women who do not like chocholate... which confuses me.
