My husband has HORRIBLE credit, can I leave him off of the mobile home contract? He has no criminal record or anything , or do you think he would disqualify us both if we're using my income and I have o.k credit? thanks

He must be listed as a resident but doesnt have to be a guarantor of rent.

You shouldn't have to include him on the credit check process, but he will have to be included in the lease as a resident. You may want to be up front with the mobile home park about that and just let them know you are the only one interested in running your credit for this purpose. Do be careful...they might make you solely responsible for everything if anything were to happen to the mobile home regardless of his status in the home if you are the only tenant listed as head of the household.

I hate cellular domicile parks. they are high priced and quite income on the undesirable. I even have first hand adventure. The utilities are as a lot or greater advantageous than that of a house, the condo area is intense and may be the fee of a vehicle fee, and the maintenance are complicated to do. i might attempt observing a smaller domicile yet, not a apartment. The association costs may be terrible. some cellular domicile parks have association costs besides. i think of cellular domicile parks in maximum aspects of the US are rip offs. i comprehend there are some intense-high quality ones yet, maximum are actually not.

Are you renting or buying? If you are renting I think it would be OK to leave his name off. However if you are buying, and you live in a community property state, his name will have to be on the contract as well.

I don't see why that would be a problem as long as you do have a steady income.

it all depends on the agent. If your sure you can qualify without his income, just dont even mention him to them.
