Rule of thumb Polar bears are only found North of the equator and Peinguins are only found South of the equator. I have no idea why in adds and tv shows they show the two together. You will however see some amazing wildlife, the whales are very cool to see. Have a great trip, next year you will have to go south of the equator to see your peinguins. You can go to Chile for this or Africa if you want warmth.....Anartica is a little to cold for me.

Penguins only live in the Southern Hemisphere. They live all along Antarctica, New Zealand, some islands off Africa, and on the coasts of Chile.

Well you won't see Penguins, but you will see Puffins.

A Puffin is a small shore bird residing in many parts of Alaska's inland waterways. They are a very special bird, and quite fun to watch.

Some other critters you will see include: Albatrosses, Pelicans, Comorants, Terns and Gulls, of various species.

There are in excess of one million shore birds that call Alaska their summer home.

Penguins only live in New Zeland, Antarctica, and I think in the most southern tip of Chile.

Nope. Sorry, but no penguins in Alaska. Not even at the zoo.

You should change your itinerary if you hope to see penguins, since they are only found in the southern latitudes near the south pole.

No penguins only live in the south pole. You will see lots of bears, caribou, elk, moose, deer and other animals so be grateful!

Nope. Penguins are in the southern hemisphere, only.

There are plenty of other critters to see there, though

If you want to see a penguin, you'll have to go to Antarctica (that's at the SOUTH pole, by the way).
