How many can help? Please?
My best girl friend, is bulimic.... How to i go about approaching her and talking about it. She is not fat but she thinks she is. I don't want anything bad to happen to her, I kind of like her. I would do anything if it would make her stop.

I can't go to her family, because her brothers and dad are always calling her, her sister, and her mom fat a**, her mom basically starves herself, and her sister is bulimic too...

Please help, I don't want her to get hurt.... I love her, too much and would feel responsible if something happened. She passed out not too long ago....

Please help!!! I'm begging

I know first hand that eating disorders are hard to over come, I know this because I used to be bulimic for a short amount of time. It is a hard situation to be in, it really is. All you can do is tell her what you told us, does she know you know she is bulimic? You seriously need to just tell her that you care about her and are concerned about what is going to happen to her if she don't stop what she is doing. It sounds like this problem runs in the family so going to them isn't a good idea. Is there any other adults you can talk to about this, a teacher or someone? Tell them the situation about her and the whole family and they can get some real help to happen. If you do tell someone she may get angry, but what is more important, her being mad for a little bit or her well being? Good luck and hope you make the right decision.

maybe you should search the internet for eating disorder websites. They would most likely have better info than you could get here.

You can talk to her about it but she must ultimately make the decision to seek help.
