Why are the Democrats waiting for 2008 to make a difference? Didn't we just go through a change in your favor? Don't you have power again?

The good news is the people spoke loud and clear about the need for change in the last election. The bad news is the democrats and republicans are on the same wave length, and neither is tuned into the American people. Both political parties answer to the same master, and unfortunately it is not the people they are sworn to represent.

We will see and hear rhetoric, blustering and endless promises, but in the final analysis nothing will have changed except for the frustrated voters who will decide voting is a waste of time. So much for Democracy!

When will people realize it doesn't matter which party is in office. The number one goal of both parties is to increase their own power base. The will of the people is secondary. Every decision is based on "what's good for the party?" As long as a politician's number one priority is to perpetuate his own job, he will will not be responsive to the needs of the people.

We want the Republicans out of the white house and a much larger majority in the Senate. Two senators in NH are about to get defeated, they both are Bush mouthpieces, just like we put 2 incumbent Republican Congressmen on street!

No we don't have the power. Currently it is almost impossible to overturn a veto!

They did get minimum wage increased, something the Republicans didn't want to do!

The Democrats do not have the numbers in the Senate to really get anything done, then there is that Presidential veto that Bush will use. As long as Bush is President, he will continue to take this Country down, no one can stop him.

Always a good idea to listen to both sides before voting blindly.
