There are a number of social groups that you can get involved in that may make you feel more comfortable. I can respect the feeling of wanting to stay connected to your spiritual beliefs and I realize how hard it is to do so in todays society.
I think you would be surprised just how many people feel the same way you do. I am an admitted gamer geek and of course the women I find attractive think that because I like gaming, I am a freak and they do not realize that I like a number of things they like also. Many people are afraid to see beyond their expectations and see poor social skill as an issue. Those who see beyond it are more worthy of friends and will be closer because of it. Stay away from clubs and look at some of the social groups available in college. try and find an internet friend where you can talk without fear of issues in person. Whatever you do I hope it all works for the best.

First of all do not try to be something just to make other people happy or unhappy. You'll just end up insane. Just be successful at being happy don't worry about being both. You're still in college? Then you should only worry about good grades and having fun. I have 4 kids and I would support them gay, straight, bi, poor, rich it doesn't matter. As far as being dumped goes I am a single parent so I know how you feel. I have gotten over a few heart breaks by listening to "Unanswered Prayers" by Garth Brooks. You will never find your perfect partner if you don't get rid of the losers first. Two things... It's their loss, and in a few years when you run into them, and you're happy and successful you can sing another country song "How Do You Like Me Now" GOOD LUCK!!!

Well you know what...
When your first girlfriend dumps you... It's right then at that moment, when you decide if you are actually a lesbian or not.
Women are no less a heartache than a man and a Bi Curious woman usually has to experience that to know for sure. Often times women are worse and much more heartless than men...
As for the rest of it... Screw your Stepdad... Go live with someone else! Either that... Or every time he put's you down. Let it hurt... watch it hurt... pluck it out and examine it, turn it around and use it to get the hell out of there and become a success. Even if whatever it is that you decide to do... Is nothing even remotely close to anything he considers a success to be.
Decide what success means to you, FOR YOURSELF and then do it... Not because of him, but in spite of him!
Some adults are idiots and honestly believe that by creating a competition between children, that it will somehow make both of them suceed in trying to out do one another. Now that you have the jist of the pathology behind the well intended machinations of a moron... Maybe it won't hurt quite as much.
and remember... Someone had to first do it to him, in order for him to be so very good at it!
I wish you love (no matter what sex you find it in) luck, and peace!

I should advice you as a start get some professional help or find someone you really can talk to open to about who you are, talk about for example:you are bisexual and what concerns you.
I not saying something is wrong with you Im saying you need sharing this situation with someone as a start and that person must be someone you can trust on, define who you are and what is your goals, and NOT other ppls goals for you...
A community for bisexuals girls? You are not alone in this world being a bisexual with other spiritual beleifs...

First of all, I think it is wrong of your stepdad or any parent to compare their kids with each other. You and your stepbrothers are each individuals and each have unique qualities. It sounds like you are working hard to reach your goals. The best revenge is success so keep up the hard work and you will be successful.
You won't be truly happy until you start being yourself and not being ashamed of yourself or who you are.

Find yourself something to focus on.... like your future, and work toward that. stay out of the clubs, unless you see yourself as an entertainer, or something. It must be obvious to people around you that you are hiding things about yourself, so they don't feel comfortable with you. Don't take yourself so seriously, lighten up and just enjoy the company of others without all the sexual tension. you'll find that you will then be able to make friends. hope i have helped you a little

Naturally, I can't tell you what to do. My Dad looked down on me because he always wanted a son. I left for college as soon as I was old enough. I had a government grant for tuition & worked for the rest. I don't know your age nor your options. Is there a counselor or spiritual leader you can talk to? Do you know your options to further your education? Please try not to feel stuck. There are always options.

You are who you are. You are also growing up. You must understand that it is your life, you have the choice to do what you feel is right, you own your actions and accept responsibiliy for them. Follow your heart and have confidence in yourself, We all have much more power and potential than we realise.
