You click on the item you want to use with the stylus. I think it'll say to equip the item. That'll work. Or, you can drag the item onto your person. Either way works.

You can drag the item to the person or you can push the A button on the object you wany to use and put on your character.

either drag it too your charecter with the pen, or grab it and drag it to your charecter,

you have to find them and if you have go to menu and options and enter use item in inventory
