Ok First of all, The guy above me is an idiot. Guppies are livebearers and give birth to baby fish called fry.

Her "gravid spot" will grow large and darken as the fertilized eggs develop. Closer to delivery time, the spot will be nearly black. Some say they are even able to see the developed babies within the gravid spot, but I can't say I have seen this.
Often times, when delivery is near, the female will be having difficulties swimming due the weight of the developing fry. I don't always notice this problem, but it should be something you watch for on a daily basis.
The female will try to find a hiding place, being it behind plants in the tank or often times, my females hang out near the heater. They just seem to want to be left alone for delivery time and don't want to be bothered especially by the frisky males.
Classic Signs of pregnancy are a large belly, a boxy-look from the front view, and a darker gravid spot. The spot, under the fish's tail, is like a stained-glass window where the fry come out. Near the day of delivery you can sometimes see eyes of the unborn fry as tiny black dots.

She may be carrying eggs, but fish don't get pregnant.
They lay their eggs and the male contributes to the eggs.

Oops. My bad. You're talking about a guppy.
