WE have to take school showers and i dont care if the other kids see me naked. they may make fun of me but its their problem if they are mean. It is annoying somtimes but i was wondering if they cared if people saw them naked. I dont but i am asking you!!

This is a very interesting question for me for several reasons. I was (I think) in the 8th grade and 14. In 'athletics' about 20 of my male classmates and I started getting naked together and taking showers several times a week.
The thing that made this unique for me is I was gay and knew it. So I got to see many boys my age 'in their birthday suits' for months at a time. This would be like a strait kid getting to take showers with 20 naked girls all that time.
Being an only child and over-protected, I was shy at first but I figured, rightly so, that they didn't have any particular interest in seeing me naked. But I certainly admired their young athletic bodies to no end. I still fantasize about it.
I've been told that this was a form of voyeurism, although I had no choice about it at the time. Even that it's some kind of sex offense, because I was enjoying what I was seeing, without them knowing about it or 'consenting'.
I'm sure this has affected me, but I'm not sure exactly how. I don't see how it affected them, since they didn't even know they were being admired in this way. Or maybe some of them did and rather enjoyed 'showing off'. Who knows?

I cared at first, but by my junior and senior year I was much more comfortable being naked and didn't really care who saw me.
Once I got to college, it didn't bother me a bit. I lived in a co-ed dorm my first 2 years, and many times people saw me naked...it was a very casual atmosphere for most of us, and non-sexual nudity was never a big deal.
Plus, to be totally honest, I knew that i looked really good naked, which was probably another reason why I was OK with it...and still am, obviously.

Up until the early 70's all kids took showers together in schools. Nude swimming was common in Y's and Boy's Clubs. For some reason, everyone started making rules that have turned a couple of generations of kids into a stinking sweaty mass, shy and easily embarrassed, with screwed up attitudes about their bodies.
Take your showers. Go to a nude beach. Enjoy Freedom.

We had school showers, but I never had to or wanted to take one. Sometimes when I was hyper I'd get the urge to run around the gym naked though. So I guess I didn't care a whole lot.

No. Never even really gave the subject any thought. See, for me, it was no big deal period. Every guy in there is all hot sweaty and smelly, so get clean and fresh smelling already! Why would anybody want to smell gym fresh arm pit juice all day?

Hey.. don`t be embarrassed just because you are afraid.. Who cares! Hey.. if the girs are mean.. why don`t you tell them that thier body are worser than yours.. Who cares.. hey they won`t spread the news to the whole school... I guess.

I never gave a rat's rump because everybody did it back in my day (I'm 54). Even though I'm Jewish, circumcision is so common in this country, I never stood out. Ironically, it was the UNCIRCUMCISED kids who stood out.
