I'm not a Democrat and may not vote for him, but I suggest this:

"I am a strong Democrat and an enthusiastic supporter of Governor Bill Richardson. I would be very honored to play a part in his victorious Presidential campaign."

Like a previous responder said, you need to back this up by giving a few reasons why you support his run for President.

They're looking for people who can express enthusiasm and confidence that he will win. You also need to demonstrate knowledge of the issues (this is why you list some reasons why you support him.)

Contrary to what a previous responder told you, you need to capitalize Democrat. The Democratic Party does on their web site, so you need to do the same.

I'm proud of what you are trying to do. Richardson is the best, most experienced candidate.
Regarding your statement, it sounds like you are a big $$$ supporter, so they will just ask you for money. I would be a little more specific about the type of help you are offering, what your talents are and how far you are willing to go. For example, would you travel to another state and pay your own expenses? Are you a lawyer? Do you have computer skills? You don't want your offer to sound too "slick". Sincere and informative is always best.
Kudos to you.

I would make one small change. Instead of campaign towards the presidency I would say campaign for the presidency. Otherwise it looks good.

Good Luck, Mr Richardson has a lot of fund raising to do and quickly to have a chance aginst Hillary and Barack.

They want their volunteers to submit resumes?

Democratic is not a title, so it should not be capitalized. But I'm a republican, so you're not going to listen to me.

This sounds fine, but if they are asking for a resume, it sounds like they also want something with your educational credentials and work experience listed.
