Which out of the 2 do you recommend for a girl who is on a budget, but LOVES Video Games???

Wii it so fun and you can be active and it cheaper and heather . I mean what can bet all that and the video games are sweet but in PS2 you can have gutair hero so ya

As a solid Nintendo fan, any compliments I give to a Sony system hurt, deep inside... But... Since the PS2 is at the end of it's cycle, and the Wii is brand new, the PS2 has more good games. And, as gut-wrenching as it is to say, some of them even have innovative gameplay, like Katamari Damacy and Guitar Hero. Okami is probably the best PS2 game out there. Most PS2 games you can get real cheap because of the PS3. I've seen Shadow of the Collossus, one of the PS2's best games go for as low as $10.
However... DO NOT GET THE SLIM DESIGN! It's broken hardware. They made it slim by removing cooling fans. The thing overheats like crazy. As a matter of fact, the most stable PS2 model number is SCPH-50001. That's what I made sure to get.
In the long run, a Wii will last longer than a PS2... And will have more and better great games than the PS2 by the end of it's lifespan... But you specifically said you're on a budget though, and Wii games are brand new. $50-$60. PS2 games are mostly older. $20-$30.
It hurts me to say it, but it sounds like the PS2 better fits what you're looking for than a Wii right now.

Umm.. a budget of how much? And do you mean a PS3 or Wii? I think the Wii is a piece of crap personally, and even if you mean a PS2, I'd reccomend that over a Wii. If you really want a Nintendo based system, go for the Dolphin (Gamecube).

Wii all the way you can get into the game!! :.> But for a buget a PS2 i hear they're cheaper and not as hard to find

the ps2 is $100 with 1 controller and the wii has a remote with the ability to play nintendo gamecube games and wii,it will play gamecube controlers,u can get member points and toggle in the ride with the wii controller and is $249.99

The PS2 is a better deal--better graphics and more variety of games --but its at a higher cost. The Wii graphics aren't so great but you can get really active with it!
personally, i would get the PS2 --it's better for everyone overall

PS2 of course then u can probably get one dirt cheap on e-bay and a couple of games also u can bootleg the games by having a DVD player on ur computer and a torrent program so u can install the games and burn them onto CDs so its saving some pretty good cash

i would geta wii like yay i got a wii but it gets really boring i hav 1 but for fun but for kinda online and gaming not just fooling around get a ps2

the wii. especially if youre on a budget. right off the bat you save a few hundred dollars. plus it comes with a cool starter game (wii sports). Free wi-fi makes it a plus too. you can also play old gamecube games too. thats my personal opinion.
