Point reflection happens when all points on a shape and the corresponding points on its reflection are equidistant from a point. This usually results in a flipped mirror image of that shape. Mathematically speaking, a point (x, y) is reflected so that it's corresponding point is at (-x, -y).

Line reflections result in points being directly reflected over a line, with no flipping. Line reflections are mirror images. If, for example, a figure is reflected over the x-axis, all points (x, y) from the original shape will map to (-x, y).
