Do anything not to pay child support? My sons father went to jail because he was stuiped (this is his second time) And went to court and stopped all child support. Because he is in jail and does not make any money. I thought that should go into rears. Like it did the first time around. Now i get nothing not even in the rears. That is not fair.

Most fathers feel that they shouldn't have to give you a cent!!!!!
They think that by paying you support that you will spend that money on yourself and not on the kids!!!!
So, they refuse to pay it and your children suffer for it!!! And to these men I say you aren't a father.
You are a dead beat!!!! And your children deserve better than you.
If you can help make a child then you should be able to help raise and support it. This is the least you can do. And if you don't want to know your child then by all means don't but, pay the support.
It isn't cheap to raise children and if the shoe were on the other foot you would want help!!!
Most men couldn't handle there children full time. Not all men just most. And, I am not being sexists either.
I know that there are some men out there raising there children on there own and there ex's aren't paying either. And to you I say good job for standing by your kids and raising them. And to your ex's I say you aren't a mother.
Wither these so called dads or moms wanted these kids or not. They helped make them and they can sure as **** help raise them.
Back to your writing. No it isn't fair at all!!!
But, it seems like to me that you should still be able to get support from him. Once he is out of jail again you should be able to pick up where it let off. It seems like to me that the court would order him to work even if it meant that he had to be on work realease or even if they sent him down state that they would put him to work in prison making some money to pay you.
Have you checked with a lawer on this? Something just doesn't seem right.
Anyway, if you can never get a cent from him you and your kids will make it somehow. I know that you will. You have managed so far. And it seems like you are doing a good job!!!
But, promise me this. Don't let your kids see him when he gets out even if he wants them to see him.
You can by law refuse him visitation until he pays you support.
Maybe if you stop him from being able to see them when he isn't paying he'll come around and start paying.
Most people who are ordered to pay support find that it is unfair and wrong.
But what these people aren't looking at is the big picture. They want to turn it into something that it is not. They think that they are giving you there money to spend on your own personal stuff.
Wake up deadbeats!!!
Your support goes for all of this when you pay it weekly. Diapers, clothes, shoes, groceries, school books, school lunches, toys, doctor visits, gas bill, electric bill, waterbill, rent.
And so much more that relate to taking care of your children.
By law your money can be used for all these things. These are things that take care of your kids. A roof over there heads with heat and light and running water. This isn't just for your ex's enjoyment.
Hang in there, Okay.
Atleast your kids have you. And someday maybe you will meet a man that will be worthy of your kids and can show them what a real dad is.
There dad isn't a dad at all. He isn't worthy. They don't need him. They got you.!!!!

I never really counted on my son's child support, I got a job and went to school at the same time so I wouldn't have to depend on it.
When it comes around here and there, it is an extra bonus and I take my son out to get him new stuff, clothes/toys/ect. I never count it in as part of my *acutal income* and therefore it is not really an issue.
Unfortunately life itself is "not fair". Fairness is a myth that we are told at 4-5 years old in order to learn to share. In the real world fairness just doesn't apply anymore.

Child support is a very touchy subject with me!! I think who ever gets the kids in the divorce, when it is not shared The other should not pay child support!! I have 5 kids and will not take money from their fathers he is not even around....I had these kids they are mine and I can take care of them by myself!! I hate women who only seems to care about ( WHERE IS MY MONEY )...
I have a idea may say stupid to you but get a job.....
P.S What is not fair!! ALL YOU WANT IS MONEY...........Cant you get it on your own!!

They are called "dead beat dad's", and they are pretty low human beings (if you can call them human).
All you can do is keep calling your child support agency once he gets out of jail. Does he own any property or anything of value? You can put a lien on anything that he owns.
Keep trying.
