how do i start a nonprofit org, and where should i go to gain information on the guidlines &requirements?

my project will be taking in young mothers (24 and under) off the streets and into temporary living conditions that assist in showing mothers basic child care, self disipin, donated computers to teach computer literacy & language skills needed in a work place, grooming & dressing these young woman & children to build self esteem and provide presentable attire for work & every day use. Show women to cook, clean and basic "handyman" skills so they maybe a ble to independantly run a household. Valunteer phycologists to help ladies with self esteem issues or any personal issues they may face. Once they have aquired a steady job,assist in opening a saving/checking account, show them how to manage money/balance a checkbook. A few weeks into their new jobs they will be required to pay for one minor bill(light, water, cable ect)builds responsibility, structure & sence of accomplishment. eventuall assist in establishing credit and ultimately get them living and fully funtioning in society.
