Is he affraid He, Rove or even Gonzales will be "forced" to lie?
What are they hiding?
Could all this have anything to do with all the shenanagans BUSH aponitees have been manipulating?

Why do people ask the same question over and over and over again? Does it not occur to people to try and look to see if the question has already been asked? In fact, doesn't this site give you suggested existing threads based on keywords?

He doesn't believe the Executive branch is subject to federal law. He's flat out said so on a number of occasions.
In this case, by allowing executive officers to be compelled to testify, he feels it will weaken the executive branch because the executive branch will lose its independence.
What he doesn't seem to understand is the concept of checks and balances and that the executive branch never was independent.

It is about separation of powers not telling the truth. The President can fire any US attorney for any reason. Congress needs to butt out. This is a witch hunt and nothing more.
