First, I started my book, Horseback Dreams, when I was nine. I completed it right before my tenth birthday (I'm ten now). It has 8000 words and about 80 pages (double spaced). I sold bookmarks to raise money for my local Humane Society. I told them about my book. They told me I could sell the bookmarks and my book at a fair that they would have in October. I sold over 25 books which sold me out. So far in total I have probably raised over $400 in total from selling each book for five dollars. Now it is at Borders and another local bookstore. Borders also celebrated a yearly Reading Day and asked me to sign books and read a passage from it. I sold out there, also, and took another waiting list for people! Since then, I have met the Governor and other representatives. Tomarrow I am going to be at a writing class with my book. The writing is for adults! Do you think I have done very well so far?
