I was floored!! Who would have thought that a bunch of muscle-bound, violent knuckleheads would ever resort to steriods.... I am crushed and dont think I will ever be able to watch another wrestling match again. I just hope that steriods dont invade the last pure and steriod-free sport left, competitive bodybuilding!

No, I was not shocked that professional wrestlers were involved in the steroids scandal. It has been permeated in the professional world and so wrestling is not immune to the corruption. What it teaches our children is that you can cheat and win and that it is ethical or moral to do so. They should be paradigms to look up to but like everything else our heroes show a moral flaw and fallen from our good graces. But this does not surprise or shock me because it is part of the dream to get ahead and the ends justifies the means has been imbedded into our psyche that to succeed at any costs is the way to go and consequences have no effect or are ignored.

I'm not surprised they were doing it, given Vince's past troubles...but I'm surprised the law cares about what they are doing as far as steroids...
