People tell me I am a bit cross eyed, but I've never noticed. How can I tell if this is true?

You first answerer is right. The only way to know for sure is to have a trained eye doctor look at it for you. I can give you some ideas on how to assess this yourself, though.

1) You may just have prominent epi canthal eye lid folds. This can make you look crossed eyed even though you aren't. Asians have very prominent folds. That is the part of the upper lid next to the nose. Look in the mirror and then take you pointer finger and you thumb and pinch the skin above the bridge of your nose. If you're eyes look straight while the skin is pinched but crosed without it it is probably just the lid folds.

2) Another way to assess it is to take a penlight and hold it just below your line of sight centered on you nose and shine it directly at the bridge of you nose between your two eyes. While doing this look in the mirror and you will see a reflection of the light bouncing off both eyes. Compare where the reflections are positioned on each eye in relation to the pupil of the eye. If both lights are positioned exactly in the same place then your eyes are straight.

And warren15 is wrong. It is not necessary to see an ophthalmologist. An optometrist is well trained in this area too.

See an eye doctor (an ophthalmologist) if you have any concerns. You may not be cross eyed at all. You may just have a lazy eye, and the doctor can help you.

No, I would say your eyes are perfectly normal. In fact, they are totally sweet. If I were you, I'd get a body guard so that no one tries to eye-jack you.
