Is this a good non-normative research question for my political sex (gender) class?
I seem to keep coming up with questions that are only
answered by opinions. I am not a very technical writer. I have other questions that may or may not be good, but could use some advice.

Thanks

Some of these answers are on the state level - different states have different laws/requirements about paternity and abortion.

Yes, it appears to be a pretty good question, but the easiest to answer would be the last one: What right does a male have as a father when a woman becomes pregnant with his child. I think I'd go with that. God Bless, Martha S.

if parents are married they have equal rights in the say of a child if not marriage the laws usally slant toward the mother.

the us has deemed a women's right to to an abortion irregardless of her spouse or bf. no court has the right to stop an abortion of a married women. cnd does scary huh?

the father can always go to court to fight for rights of a child but not a fetus. many have tried many have failed.

go to www.usa.gov and find the link for the us supreme court or go to www.gpoaccess.gov

the media imo has been fair.

First, it's "versus" not "verses".

On the last question, basically fathers and mothers have equal rights. In cases of divorces the primary caregiver is often given custody, and this is often the mother, but not always. I'm divorced and have custody of my son, since his mother has problems. But if things were equal, parents have equal rights and the courts nowadays strive to balance the rights of both parents and ensure co-parenting.
