My life before...I felt totally safe as no one ever imagined that such an attack would actually occur.(at least I didn't, false sense of security maybe??)I remember the night before feeling so safe and happy, sipping wine and looking out over the city, the next morning I awoke to confusion...I remember the windows in my apartment building shook in their frames when the plane hit the Pentagon...then my phone starting ringing, people calling me all day long...I never felt so unsafe and scared in my whole life...at the time we thought there might be more attacks on DC that day...took my husband hours to get home, but at least we were all safe. I feel safe again, but much more cautious in that feeling. It took a long time to feel safe again, guess you could say I have adjusted to a new "normal".

There's really no difference, we're still as vulnerable as ever to a wide variety of attacks. The same thing as 9/11 probably won't happen though because airports and planes have much better security. There's really no way to completely stop it. Israel has the most security of any country and they are still susceptible to the occaisional suicide bomber. However, the risk is very small that any of us will be involved in a terrorist attack, the same as it was before. The government and some pundits play up the risk and our fear of it a lot to push through their agenda.

i fear bush . i now realize govt was 'in ' on 9-11 . look at the plane that hit the pentagon .the pentagon was the most heavily guarded military building in the free world .the plane hit a half hour after second plane hit wtc , so they knew 'America was under attack' yet they didn't have the radar on ? up the defcon status ? they didn't arm the anti aircraft missiles ? fire up the laser weapons , not one shot to stop the plane ? 9-11was the first day in 35 years NORAD was 'standing down' , why ? in 1944 the Japanese weaponize airplanes for suicide missions at military targets ,(kamikazes, davine wind) so its been thought of before. defense Secretary McNamara discussed similar plans in 1960s . for the past 30 years the defense advanced research projects agency ,DARPA,hires geniuses just to think up how to weaponize stuff . THEY didn't realize this was coming ? its all to hard for me to believe it happened as they say . google ' loose change ' there are way more unanswered questions and odd coincidences . it just doesn't add up . democrats and republicans are both corrupt . lets all vote other .

As far as terrorism goes, I feel safer. When it comes to living in the city of Philadelphia, I am just as terrified as ever.

It's not something that I think about constantly, and I have not let it rule my life, but I am a lot more aware of my surroundings and I notice a lot more now.
