We all know that the war in Iraq has claimed more than 650,000 Iraqi civilian lives, lasted already four years (longer than US involvement in World War 2), and has been proven to not be beneficial to anyone in anyway. Why are we in Iraq when North Korea is testing nuclear weapons and they pose a much greater threat?

I feel it is becasue we have to be much more careful with North Korea the Iraq. It's hard to say this but, the North Korean Army far outnumbers the US Army and I think our commanders know that. They could make life difficult just by force in numbers. I do believe the ratio is something like 1 American soldier to every 100 North Korean soldiers.

Has North Korea got any oil?
Have they got any stuff we want at all??
Nope.
So it's not necessary for Bush to "liberate" them, is it? We only need to make countries "safe for democracy" if they've got stuff we want to put on our credit cards.

Because they have Nuclear weapons. You have to deal with countries that have them differently than countries that are planning to build them.
