Ok, so last summer I stopped taking my birth control pills. My period didn't start for over two months. Then I had to go to the ER because I had an ovarian cyst that had ruptured (it was my first one). So, stupidly I went back onto the pill. Then I stopped again about two months ago because they were making me gain a lot of weight. I still haven't started and I've checked twice for pregnancy. Am I going to have another cyst rupture?? Please help, I don't know what to do. Is there anything I can do to prevent it??

The only thing you can do id remain vigilant and seek immediate attention if anything makes you think you are having another rupture. There isn't anything you can do to prevent it.

Going on and off the pill like this is probably not good. Since you have had these exact same symptoms before, I would definitely see the doctor before you end up in the ER again....better safe than sorry.

You could have, I don't remember the name, but it's a condition where women won't have periods unless assisted by hormones. That doesn't mean you have to take birthcontrol but you may have to take some sort of hormone therapy.

I myself won't have periods unless I take progesterone. (I can't take birthcontrol).

As to the other I would go to your doctor and have it checked out promptly and let them know your history just to be on the safe side.
