if not is there a way i can make it to be free? i have a ipod video and want to be able to put videos on it... if you can help me with that too i'd be very grateful.

Technicaly you cant download the videos on youtube as they dont provide a link (well I havnt seen one) but to do it get the video you want to download up on your screen then open another browser window and go to this site www.keepvid.com and copy and paste the address of the page with the video you want on it into the box on the keepvid site, select youtube from the drop down menu next to it and hit download then below it a box will appear with download link in it, click download link to download the video and there you have the video...well almost...this will usualy save the video with no extesion so when you save it put .flv as the extension on the file. Not you just need something to play them...go download a copy of FLVplayer (which is free) and now you can download any youtube videos and watch them on your computer whenever you want :D
As for Ipods you will have to find a program that converts from .flv to a format compatibe with Ipods...I used to have a program that did it but I cant remember it...it can be done though as I used to do it for my phone

other site you can go to this website and follow the step on how to download it.
