Oh yeah!...In Long Beach (NOT in town, but side street) is a place called Potholders. It's out of this world!! Always a line of people, very popular. Try Potholders!
I'm from Minneapolis, but when in Long Beach a couple times each year, Potholders is a must!

try soup plantation, they have 6 or 8 different kind of soup. you can check it on www.soupplantation.com and they serve salad also. around $8 per person, buffet.... On Monday night, they have mushroom cream soup, its really2 good.
