It sounds like the relationship is in horrible shape. Does she have reason to distrust you? If so, then just go take the test again. But, if you've never given her reason to doubt, I'd call her out on the trust issues and try to work it out. If she can't trust you and you've never done anything to cause that, then she doesn't really love you.

She is just trying to be smart about her body! You can't blame her for wanting a HIV test. You both should take one together. Although you have been faithful, it is always better safe than sorry.
She might have trust issues, but you should still go and take the test, and have her take one too. If she still has the trust issues after you do this for her, then you need to reevaluate your relationship.

I would be dang proud that I had a girlfriend who cared so much about her health and safety. HIV tests can be negative if you had it right after the last time you were intimate because it takes your body time to build the antibody they test for. I would, if I were you, proudly go to the clinic with my girlfriend and thank her the whole way. Just make sure she gets tested also.

no way man, but I do hear from where your gf is coming from, she just probably wants to hear it from the doctors mouth. Let her, its not like its the end of the world but if you really care about her enough for her to have the piece of mind that she isn't carrying that nasty STD. Then so be it. Just do it on a day that you both have off and you guys can do something afterwards, don't make it into a big deal is what I'm trying to say.

Why not get another test?...She's probably thinking that she is in it with you for the long haul and she wants to be wise about not making any assumptions about your HIV status. It's smart of her. You should ask for her to get one also. That way you both can feel secure in the knowledge that you are entering into a long-term (maybe someday permanent) relationship with a clean slate. When my husband and I started dating and saw that we were going to have a sexual relationship we both went and got tested for everything so that the other one wouldn't have to worry. It just eliminates worries.

April was 11 months ago! You should go again, what do you have to lose? And you should both be tested. You seem to be putting the stress on her, by not cooperating, and yet you make it sound the other way around! This is the modern world, you owe that to each other.

You are not losing your mind. Please, go to the clinic, and if they have the records from when you had the test done, see if you can get a copy of the test results. Or, you may have to take the test over again. Take care.

Just do it and dont think anything more about it.
If it makes her feel better, then dont ask why or question it. She has the right to protect herself. She apparently has an issue that needs to be dealt with. So, if its a problem, get rid of it. Simple.
Good luck to u and stay safe!

What does one negative test prove? You can have negative HIV tests for up to 15 years. I get tested every year just to be on the safe side myself...One test proves nothing.

youre not losing your mind...she is.
if you want to work things out with her then show her the test and start from there.
maybe by showing her how ridiculous this is you can get her to start realizing she has this baggage. And you are right....if her parents have fidelity problems it can seriously be affecting her view of relationships!
