She used to be my friend, but I backed away when I realized that I wanted a sexual relationship with her. I have an absolutely wonderful boyfriend who supports me, but I really don't know what to do.

First of all you need to find out if she's straight, gay, or bi!

Really and honestly? If you do have a sexual relationship with this woman, you are going to find yourself deep in muddy waters.
Number one. Never have sex with a female co-worker. She will want to be with you, want to make you her's and when its all over and done with, it will start drama in the workplace. Work is work. Play is play.
If you want to have a romantic relationship with her, you need to obviously be honest with your boyfriend. You need to let him know that what your feeling is something that you want to explore.
Just know one thing. Guys, don't stay with women who cheat. Neither do girls, but you get the point. If you have a sexual relationship with this woman, you can kiss your relationship goodbye.
Its best to keep things like that left in the work place.
Try someone else. Tell your boyfriend, or maybe have a threesome? See how it goes? Good luck!

If you have a boyfriend, I say stay faithful.

Putting that aside, a lot of problems can arise from sex within the workplace, and I never promote that. The drama that has the potential to take place is never worth risking your bread and butter.

I would not do anything. In todays workplace, approaching her about this would be considered sexual harrasment. And being that it is with someone of the same sex, (sadly) that would make things worse. I would advise against any action and keep it mearly a fantasy.

If she is gay or bi and your boyfriend is ok with an open relationship go for it.
If she is straight or your boyfriend would not approve...the answer is simple, doing the right thing is not always so easy.
Good luck.

You need to sort everything out.

Are you bisexual, lesbian, or straight and simply testing new waters? Are you in an exclusive relationship with your boyfriend? If you are, do you want to keep it that way?

You need to do what's fair for both of you. If you want to sleep with someone else, male or female, and don't have any reservations about it, you need to talk to your boyfriend about it. If he thinks you guys are in a monogamous relationship, you could really hurt him by sleeping with someone else. If you have strong urges to sleep with someone else, maybe you shouldn't commit to a relationship. On one hand, going against your urges to try new things isn't really fair to yourself, and on the other hand, going ahead and trying new things while in a relationship isn't fair to your boyfriend.

first of all, is she in into it? if she's not forget it and treasure the friendship. it maybe broken if she's insulted by your approach and lost of a friend?

if you're still undecided and its a torture, find out if she's in for it by asking and finding out for yourself.

if she's a true friend, hopefully she accepts you and fulfill your wish or she'll appreciate your frankness and enhanced the frienship between you 2.

results are obvious but are you ready to accept them?

Slap yourself across the face and get some sense. You do NOT sex your co-workers. Office dalliances are a definite NO-NO.

As for your boyfriend, well, he must be a saint.

Not the smartest thing to do. Once it explodes (which it most likely will) you will still have to work with this person. As grandma used to say, "Don't sh*t where you eat"
