Well I don't know how the being taught about life since a baby has anything to do with a breakdown - But I can tell you now I have had two major breakdowns in my lifetime, and my personality may have evolved but I'm still me. In one of my breakdowns I lost all sense of reality and time, I was crawling on the floor and whaling all the time - why? because I was afraid of everything. Afraid of death, afraid of life. I was seriously traumatised.
Things change, you don't rebuild, you just climb way above your old structure, evolve and reach a different goal. Now I have got through these, even though I still struggle - I know I can cope with anything that's thrown at me, even if I need advice from time to time.

I read in a book a long time ago and it taught me that, who and what we are, from the time we are born, until the time we realize otherwise, is decided for us by everyone ELSE in our immediate life... But us.

Friends, family classmates, parents, peers... Basically, as a child we all learn by mimic and by aping every experience and therefore every opinion we have, actually belongs to everyone but you.

In the moment you realize this... You can begin to live your life for yourself... Less the influence of anyone else's opinion. And learn to thrive and heal and correct your mistakes. Through accountability and responsability for YOUR OWN choices, opinions and actions...

Sometimes it takes time love... Be patient with yourself even when other people are not. Especially bill collectors.

Think of like this... Something inside you stopped, took stock and decided that none of the things you knew to be true, really ever belonged to you, because they were not yours. They belonged to everyone else and you adopted them.

Things like Religion, Fashon sense, sexual preference, life choices... Whatever?

How many of are stuck in a life that we didn't wholeheartedly create all on our own? and how many of create what they call "brakedowns" in order to take stock in ourselves and give ourselves the distance we need from all of it in order for it to actually work?

You went about it the long way... Painfull, confusing and tragic even? It happens to everyone eventually... SOme people just have it come naturally, for some it is a shock.

It is a right of passage to allow yourself to take a breath, stop and decide for yourself where you begin and where everyone else ends.

I just watched a fantastic movie called "A price above Rubies." I suggest you watch it... It has both Rene Zelwegger and Juliana Margalies (spelling) in it.

Sometimes... mental brakedowns mimic and look a lot like insanity to those looking in from the outside. But most of the time it is the falling away of all the things that sometimes must do just that, fall away... no matter how painfull, frightening and shocking it is... In order to get to the heart of what is truely there in every man's heart. Himself...

Take special note of the ruby in the ring at the end... It was a precious movie... and very well written and performed.

You however... may hate it. Watch and decide for yourself! *Smiles

Good luck to you!

Peace darling... You will be in my prayers.

You can choose .....go for your dreams. Be who you really want to be, who you are meant to be.....value yourself and believe in yourself. Don't pretend - be real.

We are who we become by just naturally being.

If you do what interests you and follow your instincts, eventually you will know who you are by knowing what you do and by knowing your self.
