Okay I have another question on Tanks.
I want to get a 20 gallon for guppies, and LOTS of stuff for them.Alot of you have mentioned Plants and that I know is a must, but what about other decoration for the tank....like stuff to swim in.
Im saying,what stuff would you recommennd that your guppies use and wont be a waste of money?

The best thing really is lots of plastic plants. other things for them to swim around and through and stuff really is just up to you, whatever you like.

Guppies tend to be top level swimmers, so they don't usually swim through caves. Decorations will be more for you then them, lol.

Guppies are community fish though and if you want some mid level swimmers or bottom swimers here are some that would go well

glowlight/neon tetras (should have at least 5 as they school)
danios
female platys (or two females to each male)
small barbs like cherry barbs (do not get tiger barbs with guppies)

Oh, a tank background really brings the tank together

You could add a decoration such as a fake wall or a castle. or those skulls. They are decoration but also serve as shade for the fish in case they are shy or just taking a break from the light. Hope this helps.

guppies are hard to keep alive...so says my friend.....i had 5 but sold them and got barbs(3 tigers,3 greens)
