If Manchester Utd get to the final of the F.A. Cup this season they would have played Premier League opposition in EVERY round. If they win would they be the first club to do so having faced top flight opponents all the way? If not, what teams have and in what years

West Ham (2d branch - those days "The Championship")one million-0 over Arsenal in 1980 Trevor Brooking have been given the winner with a (quite) uncommon header. Wimbledon in 88 went directly to end that season interior the best one million/2 of the 1st branch (now Premiership). besides the fact that that became the 1st FA cup very final wherein a penalty kick became stored. i understand - very unhappy & stattolike.

John Motson would know, but I don't know for sure.

The FA cup has been going over 100 years so if you counted the early years could have happened a few times.

this is a superb question mate....

i honestly can't remember that ever happening before.....i was so upset.....every match an epl team.

while stinking chel$ki was making a mockery out of nottingham forest and the like.....geez.....have to wonder if they paid enough to rig something or someone with the round tie draws......

i hope someone knows if this has happened before
sorry i couldn't help more.
