The O.C.!! No question. It's the best!! Summer, Seth, Ryan, Marissa! I love them all!! One Tree Hill is an okay show, but nothing compared to the O.C.! I'm so sad it's over!

If I look at both series as a whole, I'd have to say One tree Hill, because it is a much more mature, lasting show that deals with real-life issues.
I do have to say that I think that the last season of The OC (without Mischa Barton) was much better than the first three seasons, and taking season 4 alone, I'd say The OC.
But I think that Tree Hill has much more staying power than The OC...as evidenced by The OCs cancellation.

I absolutely love One Tree Hill - OTH keeps you guessing and the kids are very mature for their age especially Lucas. He keeps it real and is always there for his friends. The show keeps you guessing and the characters are very compelling.
